New and Improved Ingrid & Isabel BellaBand

We couldn’t help ourselves, we’re raving about another Ingrid & Isabel item, yet again. This item we’re about to tell you about is a life saver in your first trimester. You know that point in your pregnancy where your belly hasn’t really popped out yet, but it looks like you’ve had one too many cupcakes? That same time where you think the rubber band trick is the most genius idea, but it looks a bit bulky? Ingrid & Isabel has come up with the solution for it all…feast your eyes on the Bellaband:

That piece of black fabric over her pants is the answer to all of life’s problems. Well not really, but it is the answer to that “in between period” in your pregnancy.

Here is how it works:
1. Grab a pair of your non-maternity pants.
2. Leave it unbuttoned and unzippered

This is the last post to our four part guide for Pregnant Girl’s maternity must-haves. Don’t forget to catch up on parts one, two and three. We like to call the months after you have the baby the “fourth trimester”. Let’s be honest, the baby weight doesn’t exactly come right off after you deliver. Here are some stylish must-haves that will make you feel comfortable while you get use to having a new baby.

One of the first steps of feeling great is to wear something stylish, even if it’s just in bed. This BelaBumBum Chemise will make you feel not only great, but sexy. The easy to access clips makes nursing easy and the loose fit is great for pre and post pregnancy.

A great lounge option is this B*UP Teal lounge cardigan. This is made for lounging throughout pregnancy and is perfect layered over your favorite nursing tank post baby. Wear buttoned up or open and pair with the coordinating pant for a comfortable outfit that will leave you feeling fabulous.

Last, but certainly not least, we have the Storksak Jools Diaper Bag. What we love about Storksak is that their diaper bags look like purses. Who says you need to give up style just because you keep wet wipes in your bag? We’ve already covered the first and second trimester, now we’re moving on to the third trimester. It is the final stretch for Pregnant Girl and as your belly bump gets bigger, we show you the most comfortable pieces to help get you through.

There are days where jeans just won’t cut it and the thought of wearing hubbie’s sweat pants sounds like heaven – don’t do it Pregnant Girl, you have style and you have standards! Instead, opt for a pair of our Juliet Dream Jersey Pants. They are sure to keep you cozy while looking cute. This part two of our four week guide in helping Pregnant Girl choose maternity must-haves by trimester. Last Monday we covered first trimester, but now you are really growing. So here they are, our top picks for Pregnant Girl’s second trimester…

Our first must-have is Ella Moss. Although her line isn’t maternity, we’ve searched high and low for a handful of styles that will work for your bump from beginning to end of pregnancy. We are loving her tops because they add some much needed color to any maternity wardrobe and as you begin your maternity shopping you will love that you can still wear a favorite brand. We know you often start the second trimester in that awkward in between phase when the belly hasn’t quite popped and Ella Moss’ flowy styles will help you feel fabulous, never frumpy.

Susana Monaco is another line that we carry that isn’t maternity specific. The stretchy material in the fabric allows for you to wear her pieces throughout your entire pregnancy. We love this dress for many different occasions. Whether it’s your baby shower, a wedding or date night, this dress will make you feel like a million bucks.

Every Pregnant Girl needs a good pair of black pants. These Olian Vertigo Black pants would be great to dress up for work or dress down with flats. There is a panel that can be folded over the belly or folded down.
